Back Cover: The Nephilim, a race of giants from ancient times, find a way to invade Second Eden, a peaceful civilization in an alternate dimension. A small girl on that world holds one key to a secret that will separate earth and Hades from their disastrous union, and another girl from a land underneath Hades holds the other key. Together, and with the help of two teenagers, they will battle the Nephilim and another great evil that plagues the land.

With giants battling dragons, and a rogue dragon taking the side of the forces of evil, a cataclysmic battle erupts, endangering every life in both worlds. With the two sides in bitter conflict, another of the Nephilim, the most powerful of all, rises from the dead to join the battle. But whose side will he be on?

The two Oracles of Fire, Sapphira and Acacia, have to find a way to protect the two key-wielding girls from the brutal giants who are determined to kill them at all costs. When all hope seems lost, another warrior steps into the battle, the heir of Arthur and hero of the Dragons in our Midst series, Billy Bannister.

Enoch’s Ghost by Bryan Davis

Back Cover: Walter, Ashley, and Karen ride the dragon Thigocia in search of her son, Gabriel, and her long-lost mate, Makaidos. When Walter and Ashley find an army of giants hibernating in the depths of the earth, they meet a mysterious girl named Sapphira Adi who claims to be thousands of years old. Sapphira reveals a sinister plot, conceived centuries ago by Morgan Le Faye and the devil himself.

The giants awaken and ascend to the Earth, ready to carry out a scheme that threatens the entire cosmos, and only dragons can defeat them. Since two dragons remain on the earth, and one of them is reluctant to fight, doom seems certain. Still, there is hope. In another world, a former dragon awakens to a new existence and learns that a prophesied deliverance requires the death of a willing lamb, and a handicapped little girl who wants to die to end everyone’s suffering, including her own, steps forward as the only candidate for the sacrifice.

The greatest of dangers, building to a climax in three different worlds, meets the power of love and sacrifice in Enoch’s Ghost.

Raising Dragons by Bryan Davis

Back Cover: A boy learns of his dragon past; a girl has known of hers for years. They combine their faith, courage, and love to overcome an evil dragon slayer who seeks to bring an end to dragon heritage, forever.

The kids at school call Billy “Dragon Breath” for good reason. His breath is bad! It isn’t the normal morning-mouth bad; it’s the hot-as-fire, “don’t-you-dare-get-near-me” bad. Trouble erupts when his hot breath sets off the fire sprinklers in the boys’ restroom at school, and his parents learn they they’ve kept their secret for too long. Billy finally discovers the secret. His father was once a dragon! Now that’s a piece of news a guy doesn’t deal with everyday! Billy feels betrayed, alien, lost. When the dragon slayer traps him on a cold mountaintop in West Virginia, Billy learns to battle with weapons of steel and spirit while relying on a power he doesn’t understand, a power that helps him lean to trust again.

Bonnie, an orphan, tries to find a home, someone to love her, even thought she feels like a freak because of a body feature that she calls a deformity. But this unusual feature becomes a life-saving attribute as she discovers that her love for others and her faith in a creator hold the answers she’s looking for.

Raising Dragons is a contemporary fantasy novel that inspires you to dig deep within to find your God-given strengths and use them to overcome any obstacle. It is both a hair-raising, modern-day adventure and a glimpse into another world — a world of knights, dragons, and fair maidens. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
